Thank you so much for helping make this year's D'Vine Affair a success! This was our 7th year and each year we grow a little bigger and better. This year were we able to raise over $38,000
and had over 175 people in attendance - one of our best years yet!
The success of the D'Vine Affair would not be possible without the generous sponsorship we receive from local businesses and restaurants, the volunteer work of our artists and the support from you! I would also like to thank the absolutely wonderful planning committee for all of their hard work. Everything at the event requires months of planning behind the scenes. Watching this small group of creative, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals plan and make this event happen is truly amazing!
The D'Vine Affair has become more than just a charity gala. Over the years, it has developed into an almost year-round inspiration for those with arthritis and those seeking to help them. The Arts for Arthritis Program shows us all that children and adults afflicted with arthritis may no longer have to suffer some of the devastating and debilitating effects they once did. With current treatment, the illnesses that once placed kids in wheelchairs and deformed their joints can now be controlled to allow them to do things as delicate as creating artistic masterpieces. The art they create is beautiful living proof of this glorious transformation of how we view and treat arthritis.
From myself and all of us with the Arthritis Foundation, thanks for helping us to grow and sustain the magic that has become the D'Vine Affair. We hope you enjoyed the evening and will be a part of the D'Vine Affair in the years to come!
We could always use more help on our planning committee and we are always seeking to grow and improve. Please e-mail or call me if you have any comments/suggestions or would like to get more involved!
